If a picture’s worth a thousand words, I wrote an essay for today’s post. I thought I’d share some of my favourite photos from my Peru trip. Now before you go thinking that I’m a fantastic photographer, I must tell you that all of the photos below were taken by my very talented friend Jennifer Heemskerk.

My second reason for sharing Jen’s photos is to ask you to pray for her and her family. Jen is going through a “desert season”, having spent days in the hospital and still dealing with health issues. She explains her story here. So while you enjoy the wonderful photos, please keep the photographer behind them in your prayers.
