Fall is definitely my favourite season. I love the crisp days, colourful leaves and the tea. Yes, you read that correctly. This week’s Friday favourite is Pumpkin Chai à la David’s Tea. I’m a big fan of lots of teas from David’s but this one by far tops the list. When it’s available in the stores, I buy it in bulk. The rest of the year, I am a frequent online customer. I love this stuff!

My love affair with David’s Tea began in Kingston, Ontario. David’s stores have a great vibe with friendly staff, tea tins lining the walls, free samples, and every tea accessory you could ever need. During my first ever visit, the staff were so enthusiastic that I wondered if they were using the tea as more than just a drink. But then I tasted the stuff. I became known as the tea lady – bringing tea for every class,  hosting a daily “tea time” for my coworkers at church, and offering guests to my home a range of at least ten different teas to pick from. I would acknowledge that it’s a problem… but it just tastes so good and I’m clearly in denial.
